Should I take APUSH?

Question

I'm going to be a junior and I'm wondering if its a good decision to take apush along with AP chem, AP calc c, hon. eng., hon. bio., and orchestra. if i don't take apush i'm considering taking latin 4. is it a better choice to take apush than taking latin 4? i took AP Euro. last year and got a B+ and the AP scores aren't in yet....so can't decide....please help!

I don't know whether or not in your situation you need another credit for history, but I can tell you that I took the APUSH test without taking the class and found it exceedingly easy. Based on that I would recommend taking Latin 4, especially if it can prepare you in any way for the AP Latin (Virgil?) test. Whether you take the class or not though, I highly recommend taking the APUSH test, if you must you can even buy one of those study guides to it.

If you are asking if you should take a language or APUSH, I would recommend that you take the language since colleges like to see four years of foreign language in high school.  If you still plan on taking a language then I would definitely recommend that you take APUSH.  I just took three AP's in my junior year and it wasn't that bad (colleges like challenging course loads).  Go for it!
