Should I take Chemistry 11?

I am a high school student going into grade 11, and I was wondering if I should take Chem 11 or switch. A lot of people tell me it's a difficult course and can easily bring down my GPA. I don't need it to get into university, I simply took it because I didn't know what else to take. Now I'm having second thoughts...please help! Thanks in advance.

It's hard and you have to study.  You can consider it a challenge, or you can enjoy the social aspect of high school and don't be bothered.  It's up to you.

When in college, if you are going to go into a health field, you will need to take college chemistry.  Having taken chemistry in high school may better prepare you.  That's another aspect you will need to consider.  Or you may have more time in college to actually sit down and study chemistry.

But you made the right choice to take it because sooner or later when you get to a university believe or not even your major will have a class you may not want to take.Get a feel to what chemistry has to offer to you.Let me to you its one of the most overrated classes out there.Simply because of the reason its feared from rumors of what to expect and what math is involved.But your not them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Your you and that's the difference between a person and you.Sure your scared of the class!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Get over it and face it like winner and not a loser.Sure there is people that say you cant do it don't let that bring you down to there level.If you do that your playing their game not yours.
