Question:

Should I take a yoga class or an ice skating class in college??

I have to take some sort of P.E. in my university and I don't know if I should take a yoga class or an ice skating class. Ice skating seems hard and yoga seems a little easier. What If I'm terrible at ice skating an I keep falling and everyone else is so good?!!?!?! But I would love to learn to ice skate it seems fun. Yoga relieves stress and you get more flexible but it seems like it gets boring.

And the ice skating rink isn't located in the university it is located somewhere else and I don't know where.

What do you guys think? Ice skating or yoga??

  2. I'd go for ice skating. You can get a book on yoga, I see them at the bookstore all the time.

  3. I think yoga would be easier and more relaxing.  thats what I would choose.

  4. yoga is a dime a dozen - taught at every local Y and street corner.

    do something cool and unique.  go for the ice!

    Ice skating if you want to learn something fun that you can show off to your friends.

  6. ice skating deffectly. it's the best hockey or figure. Go for figure you can always do yogo in your spear time go for ice skating please.

  8. Yoga would help you become more flexible for skating so if you could do both that would be optimal. You should go to a couple of public sessions just to see if you like skating, if you do, consider getting your own skates (if not take the yoga class). You could maybe do yoga at home with a DVD or take a class on the weekends if you do decide to go with skating.

  9. First learn yoga because it will start benefiting your life right away. Then later learn ice skating.

  11. I think ice skating would be more fun. I do ice skating and I have for years. It never gets old. You can take yoga pretty much anywhere so there is almost no point in taking an actual class. You can also learn it at home with books and videos and like you said I think it would get boring. Ice skating is a good way to stay in shape and I wouldn't worry about others being good and stuff. Most of the time people in the same class are at the same level. It is really a personal choice.
