Should I take ballet or hip-hop. to get into shape?

HI everyone. Im wanting to take a dance class this fall to help get into shape. I Have taken both before when I was alot younger. I really want to take ballet, and then do point. But im kinda over weight right now. So I dont know waht to do. Please help. I dont want to be the chubby ballerina, but I do want to do this. Will it help me loose weight? Or should I just do hip-hop?

Don't worry...it can't be that bad...when i was on Holiday i got a little chubby too but my teacher said that il be back in shape in no time (referring to ballet).So..if you want to do ballet do it!+Maybe your not chubby,maybe its your normal body...even if its like this i saw many great ballerinas that are a little chubby and sincerely it looks even better on stage than seeing a stick!Hope this helped!

  3. do hip hop first

    work out a lot out side and inside of the class.

    dont just do the moves reallly dance it.

    take ballet wen your in better shape.

    its a very demanding type of dance!
