Should I take football or work?

I am fourteen, and i can get a permit to work 3 hours every day after school, ok, or should i take football to get in shape, although i really want to buy a macbook

football, you're 14 enjoy being a kid now

have fun and enjoy you're time now cuz you're gonna be working the rest of your life...if you want a macbook just ask your parents if you can combine your B-Day and X-mas present money for it...but football is what you should do.

working isnt fun and its something you will HAVE to do before too long. maybe you could work it out so you can do both, work weekends or something...but 3 hours a day isnt gonna bring in very much money.

also you could work in the winter, spring, and most of summer

Play football for a few months, then work.

get a job during the summer or the winter and spring, play football it is fun and you will be working the rest or your life anyway, macbooks arent that cool anyway, and you wouldnt like work, it is a easy dission, plus football gets you in to shape

Chances are, unless your amazing you'll probably only play football through high school.

A job is something your going to be doing the rest of your life.

Sure you can play touch football with friends and stuff but it's not the same. I stopped playing basketball my senior year to get more work hours because i thought i wasn't going to get much playing time, 2 injuries and 4 suspensions later, the team was calling guys up from the freshman team up to play, and it could've been me, but i had decided to get more work hours, worst mistake of my life, I'll never get that year back to play again, I"m going to try out for the college team but I doubt I'll make it, I would give anything to have that year back to play basketball. Dont make the same mistake i did.

Dude no, your a kid once, you'll be working your butt of in a few years, play football, trust me it's WAY worth it. Ask your parents for the Macbook for a holiday or B-Day.
