  1. i think he is to young, he wuld probably b able to ride most of the rides but still u have to think, wuld he b scared of the disney characters? its no fun when u bring ur kids to a place and they're to affraid to do anything

  2. He is definitely too young, except maybe for baby baby rides, but I dont know if there are any. I have two young ones and I would like to go, BUT I would also like to wait until my kids know all the characters and understand the premise of the place. It is much more enjoyable to actually know what 'disney' is....as opposed to just a thrill park. Its all the fun of your favorite movies and characters.

  3. No he is not to young. The first time I took my son to Disneyland was for his 2 year birthday. He had a blast. The only ride he had to sit on my lap for was Pirates. That was only so he could see.

  4. I wanted to go on vacation to orlando and go to disneyland.  I have a 3 year old, 2 year old, and 8 month old.  Now I now my youngest couldn't do anything, but I plan to go again in a few years so didn't care.  However, my husband seems to think they are all to young, but you know what I think.  I think that if their little eyes light up and they are excited then it is worth all the money and the traveling expenses.

Even if he can't ride all of the rides there will be plenty of other things for him to do!  I say go for it!

  5. No, don't waste the money now, save it for when he's a bit older, like 4 or 5. He won't remember it except for whatever pictures you might take, he won't be able to go on a  lot of the rides, and the characters will probably scare the c**p out of him, lol. My daughter is the same size at 19 months, so I've been researching what, if any parks would be good. So far I haven't found any that have more than 3 rides for such little ones, and none that allow a child to go by themselves, and a lot that don't allow adults, lol. There's a park called sesame place near Philadelphia, and it's not really suitable for under the age of 3 too, and it's a kids park, lol. Go to disneyland.com and look for a link with height requirements, that'll let you know what, if any, he can ride. Personally, I can't imagine spending 1500+ dollars to go ride the slow train rides that you can ride just about anywhere for 3 dollars, lol. My friend rented costumes of all popular characters for her sons 2nd birthday, and made all the adults dress up, lol. The kids ran screaming and the costumes were packed back up and ready to be returned 20 minutes after they got there, lol. It was a complete bust. Good luck!

  6. My mom has a video of us at Disneyland when I was 2 and I was crying the whole time because I was too little to ride the rides.  The height might have changed by now, but I doubt it.  In my opinion it's a little too young.  I'd wait maybe a couple years...

  7. He can ride most of the rides, and he gets in free.  If you are willing to skip the more adult rides (or have another adult with you so you can do the babyswap), by all means take him along. You'll both have a great time.

EDIT:  I am assuming that you are local?  So it's not going to cost $1500 to go.  It will cost you the price of YOUR admission. And there are plenty of rides/attractions that don't have height limits.  Go. Enjoy.
