Should I take the ACT and the SAT or just the ACT?

I'm planning to go to a Cal State (not enough money to go to a UC, nor do I have the extra curricular activities) either Long Beach, Pomona, or Fullerton and I was wondering if I should take JUST the ACT with the writing option or both the SAT/ACT? I feel really comfortable with how the ACT is organized, but I went to the admissions information page on CSULB and found out that more people sent in their SAT scores...

I took both just 4 the heck of it & actually scored higher on my ACT, so i used those 2 get in.

I'd go with the SAT only to be honest, especially if you're in California. But if you can afford it, take both. It won't hurt you, and it only takes three more hours.
