Should I take this class (AP Psychology)?

Question

I'm nearing the end of my high school career, and plan to major in business when I head off to college. In other words, AP Psychology is kinda totally irrelevant to my course of study. But from the one week I've spent in the class, the topic itself is rather intriguing, despite the fact that there is no way I plan to further my study in psychology after high school.

So, opinions. Should I drop this class and take another in it's place, or stick with it?

Unfortunately I found out that some majors require you to take classes that don't seem relevant to your major choice. Psychology falls under arts and humanities studies and I don't know about your college but although I am studying business managment I was required to take 2 arts and humanity courses so psychology may go towards your degree in business. Plus it is good to know psychology when working with people in any career... Im sure it will come in handy some where down the line. Plus it is good to know for your personal lives and relationships as well. I already took psychology in college and I learned plenty of useful things that I apply to my every day life. You should take this course just for your own knowledge and enjoyment. Even though you will major in Business, it is important

in life to know about psychology and sociology and fine arts. You can

never learn too much.

I would suggest you stick with it.

Since I took the class last year, I can tell you that you should stick with it.  Even if it doesn't seem useful, you'll definitely use it in business.  Many majors require you to take classes outside of your major.  The exam is relatively easy, but don't expect not to study and still get a five.  The material is very interesting, and if you're anything like me, you'll probably find yourself applying the things you learned in the class to everyday situations.

No, do not take this class.      An AP level course is a c**p load of work.        If you enjoy the topic, then take it as a regular-level course.
