Question:

Should I talk to my manager about a coworker?

I have a coworker who is repeatedly disrespectful of others. She constantly talks over other people and gets offended when someone does the same to her. If your opinion differs from hers, she immediately cuts you off and tells you you're wrong. She is not a team player and does not do her work. She complains constantly about smells, but then paints her nails at her desk, in a confined office space. I am so sick of being disrespected by her but I can not confront her directly without it becoming a more major problem. Should I address my issues with the coworker with my boss? I want to ask my boss for a meeting that is confidential and to not let my coworkers know I requested a meeting with her. Is that appropriate?
