Should I tell my boyfriend?

Last weekend I got drunk and hooked up with my boyfriend's stepdad. I feel really bad about it but I'm not sure if I should tell him. We only did it once so I don't want to tell. Should I tell him?

Honesty is the best policy.  What kind of step dad is he to hook up with you?.  

You should not get drunk, that way you will care about what you do.   I hear you know what you are  doing when you are drunk, but you do not care.

You should be woman or girl enough to fess up to what you have done and to be girl enough to pay the consequences of your actions.

How would you feel if the roles were reversed?  Would you want to know and if you knew, what would you do?

It takes guts to admit when you were wrong and made a mistake.  I pray he can forgive you and that you stop drinking since it seems to make you not care about what you are doing.

but honestly its up to you,  if you really loved your boyfriend you would be loyal and tell him. i mean if he cheated on you.. wouldn't you want him to tell you.

It depends on if you think you will have a future with your boyfriend or not.  If you may ever want to marry this guy then you have to tell him.  If you don't think it will ever last then don't bother telling him.

I think that if you value the relationship you have with your boyfriend [which if you're going to sleep with his step-dad then you DON'T], then you should definitely tell him and be willing to accept the consequences that come with it. If not, then sure.. you could keep it a secret.. until you boil over with guilt and he finds out from someone else or when it's way too late and you can't repair your relationship.

I say just tell him and bail, because it's obvious you don't want to be with him.

It's better you're honest with him before his step-dad tells him.

Besides, if that guy is his step-dad, then he cheated on his wife. You should just be honest with your boyfriend, even if he breaks up with you over this. I think he might understand since you were drunk, but if he leaves you, then he wasn't the "one."

You should not continue to see your boyfriend without telling him that you hooked up with his step dad. You should tell him then he can make an informed decision about whether or not to stay with you.  If he has any balls, however; upon finding out he will leave you.

I think you should tell him.  He might get mad and break up with you, but he needs to know.  There's no excuse for cheating, even if you're drunk.  Unfortunately, you need to take responsibility for what you did and accept the consequences.  If you don't tell him now, he might find out some other way later.  It's better coming from you because it shows you want to be honest, that you're sorry, and that you want to do the right thing.  He actually might end up forgiving you.

Who are these people.  **** if your BF step dad isn't saying anything then you sure as better not.  Because NO GOOD can come of it. A. He'll be pissed at you and probably dump you. and B. hopefully ur b/f isnt on YA..its a difficult thing...but i think you need to tell im..he's going to feel doubly betrayed b/c its his step dad but wonder how he's going to feel since both of you also hurt his mother...i doubt your relationship will last thru this but better to be honest b/c it will only be worse if you say nothing and it comes out later, which it eventually will
