Question:

Should I tell my dentist?

I have had braces for 2 and half years. The first time when i was about to get them off my mom noticed the centers of my bottom and top teeth didn't match. so i told hte dentist and i kept my braces on for a whole year longer just to fix the matching problem. it is finally fixed and i am on my resolve wire.(the really thick wire that keeps your teeth in place for a month so that they stay there when the braces are off) but i noticed that there is a little gap between two of my teeth on my top jaw. i really don't want to have to wear my braces for a lot longer just to fix the gap but i feel like it might bother me when i get older. is this something i should go on ahead and get fixed or just let it go??

  1. MENTION THIS FACT TO THE DENTIST.

  2. shifting the midline (center line), may lead to small gaps between teeth, so its what to do and what to ignore, i would recommend u leave this unmatched midline as its not visible to most of people but the gap is more visible, though some gaps are pretty

  3. get it fixed because you paid the money for perfect teeth and you should have perfect teeth.....

    i say yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. get it fixed

  5. fix it it will definately be worth it.

  6. It really depends on where the gap is. But although you have had braces for a while, one little gap can be fixed easily! I had the problem that you did, and my braces pulled my teeth together in a couple of days due to the chain.

  7. yes.
