I will be 27 weeks on monday and some days I feel my baby move more than other days. Sometimes I don't feel her move at all. Is this a problem?

  1. I definately wouldn't worry. When I was pregnant there were some days when I wouldn't feel the baby at all. Some babies are simply more active than others and some are just "quiet". If you are really concerned then there are ways to try to see if you baby will move. You can very gently push a side of your stomach or you can go into a room with brighter lights. I know it is hard not to worry so if you are really concerned you can buy what the doctor's use that lets you hear the baby's heart-beat. I would tell your doctor also, they will probably be able to reassure you better than anyone and maybe even have some good tricks of their own.

  2. They will most likely do a stress test. My dr told me that you may feel less movement the father along you get because there isn't that much room. But I would call your doc asap and just them know whats going on. Good luck and try to take it easy.

  3. I wouldn't worry.  In four pregnancies, that's not been an uncommon experience for me.  I don't notice fetal movement unless I'm laying or sitting around doing nothing when it happens.  So, on a busy day, I'm likely to miss it. You sound perfectly normal to me.

  4. It's normal, but telling your dr. will allow them to reassure you that everything is good :)

  5. nope, its perfectly normal. some days the baby sleeps more than others and some days the baby is WIDE awake all day!! good luck :)
