Should I tell my friend the truth about what his girlfriend is doing?

Question

One of my friends is going out with this girl. And well she smokes pot. But when other people tell him he refuses to believe them. Well im his bestfriend and I think he would believe me. Im just worried that he is gonna start smoking pot because she does. But I dont wanna be responsible for breaking them up. But I just dont want him to start smoking pot like her. Should I tell him and risk their relationship and possibly our friendship, or not tell him, and there be a possibility of him starting to smoke pot.

tell him between you too face to face with no one around so he wont feel akward or embarassed.

tell him that as his best friend your looking out for him for his best interest.

tell him its his choice to beileve you, maybe even try to prove it with a picture or video and show it to him.

maybe he knows about it but just cant admit it.

its also between him and her so dont get too involved.

& they might break up if she didnt tell him the truth before.

& if he does start to smoke pot it just goes to show his true colors.

its called saying no and knowing better, right?

i wouldnt say anything...even though hes your friend he wont want to hear negativity towards his girlfriend..

as far as him smoking..if he does its his choice...a person cant make another do something if they dont want to..

I would tell him if I were you.  Think of it this way ... if the situation were reversed, would you want him to tell you?  He may break up with her or he may not, but at least he has the information and if he chooses to stay with her, he can't say later that he didn't know.  Sometimes being a good friend means telling your friend a hard truth.

wow. you should defenetily tell him. Its the right thing to do.  He will have plenty of other girlfriends but he will never be the same or get over the pot. I know this is a hard decision so i hope you do the right thing.

Tell him. Maybe it won't break up their relationship and you and your best friend can help her stop. If he isn't happy with her doing it then that's what he should do. All your doing is trying to protect him from the drug- I think if you explained that to him then your friendship wouldn't break either.

tell him he needs to know. he will probably start smoking to too. its not that big of a deal. just tell him like its no big deal, don't make a big deal out od it. just tell him casually in a conversation.

Tell him that you don't like to make accusations,

Tell him when you both are by yourselves so he wont get embarrassed. Try to get a pic of her doing it. and tell him to break up with her because then what if he gets hooked on it then is exposed to other drugs and then his life goes down hill
