Should I tell my friend what I really think?

My friend Beth and I arranged to go shopping this Saturday, but now she's saying she wants to bring her guy friend who I don't know with her. I'm a bit annoyed because I was hoping we'd have time to catch up on things, and I get really shy when I'm with people I don't know. Should I tell her I don't want him coming or not?

Tell her O.K. this one time.  If you are her friend you need to get to know him or at least meet him.  Then tell her that you really would like to have some time with her by herself once in a while so you can have girl chats and confide.  Otherwise you can feel like a third wheel and no best friend to confide in.

If she insists on bringing him just think that it'll be a perfect chance to get to make a new friend.

be honest and tell her that u dont want him around. you are her friend not his. she needs to spend time with him on her time not her friends time

I know what THAT feels like.  Whenever my friend gets a boyfriend he becomes her sidekick, and I invited her to come over, and halfway through she asked if he could come over.  

I would just be honest, be like "Hey, I just kinda wanted it to be the two of us for shopping, but why don't we hangout with the guy after?"...honesty IS the best policy.  If she's a true friend she won't be mad at you

you should always tell people how u fell. even if it makes them mad. but if she is a good friend she should understand and tell him that she wonts to go shopping just u and her. maybe he well understand and say ok. good luck

I think that you should be honest with her. Just tell her that you really would like to catch up on things, and it would be appreciated if it just were the two of you.

They might leave you out if they are bf/gf. Or it could be uncomfortable lol...

Just make sure they are going as friends and it should be cool.

Else she will have to tell him he can't come, which is kinda mean.

ya just tell her...it shouldnt be a big deal! why would he want to go with 2 girls anyway? i agree with you, especially if you dont know him...meet him another way, shopping is your time to bond as girls!
