She doesnt know that I know but she knows that somebody knows because I put this letter in her room that says I know and to tell her to stop in 3 days but she cant tell who wrte it because I used a ruler. Its been 4 days and she still does it should I tell my parnts? Or should I blackmail her this time so my parent dont have to know?

  1. yes tell your parents!

  2. tell. it can lead to worse things.

  3. Yes!  I think it will be easier to tell your parents your sister smokes than having to find out that she has lung cancer.  I don't mean that she will get sick, but smoking get's people her age in trouble and it's a serious addiction.  Go tell your parents right now!!  Don't ever keep secrets because parents always find out.

  4. IF YOU TELL YOUR PARENTS SHE COULD JUST REBEL AND DO IT ANYWAY. WRITE HER A HART FELT LETTER TELLING HER YOU LOVE HER AND HOW IT MAKES YOU FEEL THAT SHES KILLING HERSELF. LET HER KNOW YOU LOVE HER AND TALK TO HER. IF YOU DONT SEE ANY CHANGE TELL YOUR PARENTS. SMOKING IS A BIG DEAL!!!

  5. honestly i dont think so, it was her choice and if she wanted help to stop smoking then she would have asked you.

and if you told her she would be really angry and find a way to get back at you alot worse. she probably wouldnt trust you for a long time.

and she would probably dislike you and your parents for a long time too.

and apparently shes not doing anything illegal, so really you dont have a say to tell anyone.

  6. i would consider telling them...but its all up too you whatever you chose will be a good choice!

    =)

  7. Just tell your parents, smoking is a bad habit to start, and the earlier you quit the better it is... your sister will get over it and she will probably thank you later, that doesn't mean she wont sneak around and do it, but shes less likely to smoke if its too much of a hassle.

  8. tell your parents. she will be mad at you but really, a 14 year old smoking/ she should know better. :)

  9. TELL YOUR PARENTS!!! she is your sister she will eventually forgive you.

  10. I would tell your parents.  I know your probably don't want to be a snitch but it is what would be best for your sister.  She is probably going to REALLY dislike you for a little bit, but think about everything you are saving her from...

    *Future Drugs

    *Cancer

    *Etc.

Telling your parents is the right thing to do...

  11. OF COURSE....I WOULD TELL THEM! she is 14 and she is so young...she will be mad at first and that will not be a miracle, but one day she will thank you for saving her life! please do it! you dont want her to die beacuse of lung cancer! SAVE HER LIFE!

  12. dont black mail her, because she'll probably be able to do it better.  tell your parents. she's probably already hanging out wiht nasty druggies and ruining her reputation/future. and telling them will get you on their good side haha

  13. I think you should talk to her for real about how this could ruin her life forever. If you feel you can't in person, use the letter again but this time say you'll tell for real if she doesn't stop. Tell her how it's horrible that she's started doing this and give her maybe 2 more days, tell her if not, you'll tell, because it's for her own health. Good luck! :))

  14. did you know that it's not illegal to smoke under the age of 18, its just illegal to buy them? But if your worried about your sister, just calmly tell your parents. They'll help her.

  15. no, because in couple of years you will do the same thing ...

  16. tell your parents its either that or she gets cancer or smoking becomes a habit. hopr this helps!!!!!   :)

  17. Yes, because she could get lung cancer, or something serious like that. TELL YOUR PARENTS! :)

  18. i don't think that you should tell your parents that your sister smokes. she made the choice to start smoking and she is the only one that can make the choice to stop. even if your parents knew they could not stop her, i am only a year older than your sister and can think of many ways that i could sneak around my parents and smoke if i wanted to, its not that hard. smoking is highly addictive and she may already be addicted depending on how long she has been smoking and how her body reacts. you gave her three days to stop, even if she wanted to she most likely would not be able to stop in that short of time. you should bring it up and talk to her about it, let her know that you are concerned that you love her and just want whats best for her. its your choice whether you tell or not, but if i were you i know that i would not tell.

  19. dont blackmail her that is immature, you need to tell your parents so they can help her stop. you are doing that out of love and concern for her not out of revenge. its not too early to get lung cancer at a young age.

  20. Yes. You have to tell your parents - definitely.

A 14 year girl like her should have known better.

If you don't tell your parents, your sister can be setting herself up for some unhealthy and dangerous things. Like what is she gets caught by the police or what if someone reports her. If you think about it there are no benefits from smoking, it just kills you day by day and the people around you. Yes if you tell your parents and she finds out she will be mad at you but it is best for her loved ones to know what wrong she is doing because it is the only way to make it things right.

But before you go telling your parents anything, go to her an talk things out with her, if she refuses to talk or agree with what your saying then make sure that she is aware of you telling your parents.

  21. TELL YOUR PARENTS! She could get upset but in the end you're saving her life! If she doesn't stop soon she could develop cancer when you two are older.

  22. My co-worker died last week from lung cancer.

I am a smoker.  I started at 14 because I thought I was invinsible and nothing could ever hurt me.  I also thought I was in control of my body at all times.  This is what she thinks, and it will be a few years before she figures that out.

That's why you have parents.  TELL THEM.

Don't blackmail her.  Chances are she's better at it then you are and will only get you back.

As for three days.  It's really hard to quit.

    Good luck
