Should I tell my sister about her daughter?

I had my niece, nephew, and his friend at my house last night. The boys are 17 and she is 14. I heard the boys talking about girls being s**y and things like that. That part didn't bother me because they are older. Then my niece started getting into it and eventually the words of "Hey Chelsea lets have a threesome with Nick!" came out of her mouth. Chelsea is my 19 year old daughter and Nick is the friend of my nephew. Again this girl is 14. I didn't like hearing something like that from her. I know my daughter would never do that. I feel if my sister knew about my niece talking like that. It wouldn't be happening. Should I tell her?

Is she serious or is she just joking around?  I remember being 14, talking smack and marveling at the irreverence that flowed off my tongue--but I would never do any of the stuff I said.  On the chance that she might be serious, you should talk to your sister about that.  You can find out if she's given her daughter the s*x talk and things like that from her, and your sister can find out the kinds of things your niece is thinking about.  Good luck!

Thats a bit out of context for a 14 year old, jokingly or not, its rather disgusting.  

My uncle let my cousin do whatever starting from 12 and onwards, never really teaching him to respect others body and NOTHING about s*x. and he turned out to be one of the greasiest, dirtiest ******* b*****d I have ever met. ( sorry for my crude language, but I couldn't be anymore upset with him and his bullshit ).

I would just check in with your sister to make sure your neice knows the facts of life.  You can tell her that they boys got a little risque.

Your nephew and his friend, however, should have been asked to change the topic of conversation, as clearly they were showing off, and trying to embarrass you and the girls.

Being 14 teen is good a experience because you start to try new things.  I wouldn't tell your sister this time but next time. You want to try the relationship with you niece .
