Should I think about finding someone in my life now or should I just wait for the right girl to come to me?

I know and understand it'll happen when I least expect it. However I was talking to my father tonight and I agree at this point of my life I should at least be dating someone. It doesn't have to be a serious relationship but I haven't gone on a date with a woman since February. And unfortunately I don't know of woman to hang out with. I hate to admit and say it but usually they have other plans...

No I'm not desperate one bit. But I'm a confident guy who is respectful and likes a woman for who she is. And I don't get why some girls pass up nice guys. And no I never want to be the bad guy. I mean I have a good apearance, I even been told before so I guess life works out differently.

Thanks everyone and yes I'm not concerned or desperate of having a girlfriend but it's like I at least want to start being friends with a girl who I might have interest in.

I think you just need to wait until the right one comes along. I'm in the same situation you are in, and I'm just waiting... I know when the time is right, Mr. Right will come and sweep me off my feet!

Girls don't come to you, girls are very shy and if you say to them yes? They're gonna just walk away! Some people do that girls don't ask out usually you need to ask out because if you wait (well you seem older) Don't wait! Go find a girlfriend!

Start talking to girls more and see if you get a good response.. Get to know them..

Usually you can find nice girls at church...
