Should I trade Anthony Gonzalez for Laveranues Coles straight up?

Should I trade Anthony Gonzalez for Laveranues Coles straight up? I have Farve as my starting QB (Drafted in 9th Round). My starting WR's are T.J. Houshmandzadeh, Reggie Wayne, and Calvin Johnson. I know that Calvin Johnson is not the best WR and I just need a decent back up.

I would do that in a heartbeat. Gonzales #3 WR and Coles #1 you cant go wrong. With Favre throwing to Coles if he has the numbers close to last year it would be a steal.

Well, it looks like you play in a fairly shallow league because you have some great WRs.  Because of the type of league you are in, you should try and swing for the fences.  Coles has a much higher chance of becoming a weekly starter for you than Gonzalez.  Thus, I would trade for Coles in your situation.  Maybe you will get lucky and all of your WRs hit.  Then you should be able to trade one of them off for an upgrade at RB.

It's a close call... Gonzalez plays in that Indy offense, but he's clearly the #3a or #3b option depending upon Marvin Harrison's health...  In any event, Wayne & Clark will definitely get more looks than Gonzales even if Harrison is limited.

Coles is the #1 guy for the Jets and you've got Favre, but he's in a completely new system and doesn't know these receivers yet. It's a high risk/reward gamble, sticking with Coles.  If Favre doesn't immediately click in Mangini's system, you're better off trading Coles before their troubles start.  But if Favre flourishes in the Jets offense, Coles is gold.

I'd take Coles... better for your team on Indy's bye week when you'll have to sit Wayne.

I like Coles but he always disappoints.  AG is in his sophomore year so I would stay away from him.  I would make trade if I could and the bye weeks are not a problem with your team.

Coles/Farve is not a bad mix, however Farve spreads the ball so the Jet receiving corp will be up, but individual TD total will not change much.
