  1. No. Robinson cano is not playing too well even though he might turn it around in the second half of the season. David wrights always nasty. But to give up those players its not good.

  2. U're not giving up too much coz u're getting a first rounder who can give u everything (hr, rbi, average, stls). Cano is struggling but he can pick it up in da 2nd half. If he can get out of slump, he can tear it up for sure especially w/ the yankee lineup he's in. U're definitely getting good values in return. Upton and Crede are ok but they're nowhere near as good as Wright. Hoffman...ugh, I hv him and he's driving me nuts. Sure he can give u saves but he's just giving up wayy too many runs. Overall, good luck on getting wright and cano coz I doubt the opponent will accept the trade.

  3. h**l no. thats a horrible trade. youre giving up way too much. youre giving up too many saves, and crede has plenty of power.

  4. I have to agree with the above poster, if the deal is in the realm of fair and your getting the best player I don't see how it can be bad.

Upton will hurt but Wright will fill that gap.  Crede is having a good year so far but he's streaky.  I personally believe he'll have a good year overall but won't likely match Wright by any means.  Hoff will get his saves but his days as a dominate closer are pretty much gone.  If you're fine in the saves department then he's expendable.

On the flip side Cano has started very slow.  Looking at his career stats one would think he'll start coming around soon.  A little bit of a gamble there.

    I'd do it...lol

  5. Truthfully, I don't know what your bullpen looks like, so I'm not sure. As long as you have one or two other good closers (hopefully better than Hoffman), then I would definitely do it. Plus, I'm assuming you could add a free agent after doing this trade, so if there's a decent reliever out there to fill Hoffman's spot, then that would make this deal a little bit better. I don't know how deep your league is, but there are some closers that generally go under the radar, that might be free agents in your league (ex: Jon Rauch - 15 sv, 6.2 k/bb). Wright is better than Upton, and Cano is better than Crede. So, yes, you should do it.

  6. Im not much of a fantasy player but It sounds good to me. David Wright is the only bright spot on the Met roster and Cano is a great young 2nd basemen. Both have power and both drive in runs so if thats what you need then i'd say go 4 it. Especially if you have Ramirez and Victorino in you're back pocket

  7. i would take that in a heart beat. Cano is in a slump, but he's bound to bust out and explode for like 25 homers, more than crede might have, and i dont have to start with david wright, since he's the best player in the deal.........

    DO IT

  8. you should ask for someone better than cano. hoffman gets saves. crede has been slumping after his hot start for the month. david wright is beastly. upton has just been ok. the rays have been really good, but it's not the hitting that makes them that good. i would do the trade. david wright is the best 3B this year. he'll give you the power numbers you need.

  9. Your giving up to much Cano has just the amount of steals as Upton but not the power crede is doing alright now but your giving them hoffman

I don't think david wright is worth Upton and Crede combined

    don't do it

  10. You are getting a steal, DO IT!!!!

Especially if you have Victorino and Ramirez, your team will be stacked!

  11. Wow no one knows c**p here do they. i read the answers and they make no sense.

Yes you make this trade because 1, you're getting the best player in the deal. 2, Crede and Hoffman are really really bad. Crede ALWAYS have these hot streaks and then he goes 0-20. Hoffman is one of the worst closers in baseball now. Upton is awesome but Wright is obviously better. And Cano should bust out any day now. I would do it in an heartbeat.
