Should I trade Jorge Posada and Rich Harden for Carl Crawford?

Don't worry about team balance - looking for "pure" value. Is this a "fair" trade? Who "wins" if anyone?

Head 2 head league,do it.

Roto league,maybe not.

The reason is simple,in a head 2 head league you need to work toward having a power house line up for the playoffs.

(2 for 1 trades,like this one,is one of my favorite weapons in accomplishing this task.)

Roto doesn't have a playoff,so a more balanced team over the long haul is benificial.I'm in h2h leagues,and I'm offering some 2 for 1 trades right now.Like C.Guillen+J.Santana for Han Ram....And Pence+Dunn for A.Soriano.I've won several of these things,and I know what teams need to win it all.~~~~~~Good Luck!

you lose harden is a good pitcher and along with posado have a better value than crawford now saying you had a good pitching staff and you had another ok cather i'd make the deal but in over all value alon you would get the bad end in this deal

I would take the Carl Crawford side.  If you look at Crawford's numbers, he improves everywhere each year.  With the team TB has become, he is only going to keep producing.

I love Posada, but he isn't getting younger and is starting to get injury prone.  As of right now, his arm is close to shot and is only being used as a DH.  Posada at full time DH is good for 275-280 BA and about 20 homers with 80 rbis... however this doesn't take into account hes been hurt a lot of this season.

Harden, can be great, but is too injury prone.  Too risky for me.

I TRADE ON BEST PLAYER IN DEAL.  CRAWFORD IS THAT BEST PLAYER.

Keep Harden, especially with a winning team behind him. He is an injury risk though, so you may want to get value for him straight up, but crawford isnt worth two value players, especially one of them being a high end pitcher like Harden.
