I am in a keeper league. We keep any 6 players we want. This is my current team:

C- Brian McCann

1B- Mark Teixeira

2B- Brandon Phillips

3B- Jorge Cantu

LF- Matt Holliday

CF- BJ Upton

RF- Carlos Quentin

Util- Derrek Lee

Bn- Jay Bruce

DL- Vernon Wells

SP- Joe Saunders

SP- Zack Greinke

SP- Javier Vazquez

RP- George Sherrill

RP- Brandon Lyon

RP- BJ Ryan

P- Damaso Marte

P- Joel Hanrahan

Bn- Aaron Cook

Bn- John Maine

Bn- Jered Weaver

Bn- Scott Baker

Bn- Ricky Nolasco

Bn- Greg Smith

Bn- Josh Johnson

DL- Bartolo Colon

Everyone says Matt Holliday owners should sell high on him now while we still can. The guy is a career .365 hitter at Coors, while being a .277 hitter on the road. He has hit 81 career HR at Coors, while hitting 39 HR on the road. I think he may still sign an extension with the Rockies, but if he leaves I'm screwed unless he goes to another launching pad. If I can get Ryan Braun and another player, should I pull the trigger?

  1. Frankly, I would rather have Braun anyway. Similar speed, more homers & rbi. Yes the ba is lower but I believe that Braun will hit higher in the future. As yours is a keeper league, keep in mind that while neither is old, Braun is almost four years younger.

    Good luck

  2. i think you shoul keep him i think the rockies will keep him but ryan braun has been doing great this year but personally i would keep holliday

  3. I think that this whole rockies making a run thing is bougus anyways and I would take Braun over him any day.  do it if you can before Braun cools down.
