  1. According to footballguys.com, Turner is ranked #29 overall, and Johnson #53 overall, in standard format leagues.

It's generally considered overpaying to trade a running back for a WR.

That said, if you are desperate, sometimes you have to overpay a bit.

I would say that Turner's value is a bit too high for a one-to-one swap for Johnson.

  2. Typically, I'd say that now is the time to get Calvin Johnson.  I feel like he's ready to blow up and become a top 5 WR.

However, I also REALLY like Turner this year.  I think you're losing a lot of value trading him for CJ straight up.

I'd recommend holding Turner at least until he has some big games early on this season.  After that, if you still want to trade him, you can get more than just CJ.

If you can make a different trade for CJ then do it, but Turner is too much to give up.

  3. i'm concerned about the QB situation in detroit. kitna was ok last year but hes getting older and martz is out. unless u desperately need a wr, i'd hang on to turner who could wind up being huge this year.

  4. Do you have other solid Rb's? If so and you are weak at WR then id say yeah make the trade.

Johnson will have a nice year in a pass happy O

  5. There isn't really enough information here to give an informed opinion. Basically, the question to ask yourself is "how does this improve my team?" If you can't answer that positively, then don't make the trade.
