My team is:

2B Utley

3B Huff

SS Jeter

OF Hamilton

OF Granderson

OF Abreu

Util Burrell

BN Zimmerman

BN Votto

BN Willingham

BN Loney

SP Lilly

SP Matsuzaka

RP Valverde

RP Soria

P Franklin

P Shields

P Hamels

BN Greinke

BN Guthrie

BN Oswalt

DL Wainwright

It's a roto league and I'm second last in steals (Which Roberts could help in) and I'm middle of the pact in some pitching categories, which Beckett could boost me up in...

Thoughts?

  1. I'd make the trade. Your pitching needs help and you have plenty of power and rbi men on your team to make up losing utley.

  2. Do it now.

Utley has been bothered by some nagging injuries lately, and he's been in a long slump as a result. I saw him live in a game at Shea Stadium last week, and he didn't look so good.

Anything can happen and he can turn it around, he is a great hitter, but he's already had such a great year, his stats are bound to even out.

Brian Roberts has been hot lately, and is always good in the 2nd half.

Even if Utley gets hot, Roberts won't be that far behind. You're getting Beckett also, DO IT NOW!

  3. Beckett is doing well, I would go for it, but next time it would helpy to tell us who he has at least in pitching.

  4. Dont do this trade...First Utley will play in every game because hes in a division race so he will play through a little pain...Beckett would help your team but you have good pitching...Zimmerman should also be in your lineup.  Utley is also the best second basemen by far and Roberts isn't even close
