Should I trade in my wii for a ps3? I have an hdtv and love blu ray, but I also love the wii. HELP ?

u just have to look

more then just mario and zelda

it has madden and mlb

get the special jacks for wii tht make close to HD

they improve the graphics by alot

plus the PS3 breaks easily

If you really love Blu-Ray and have an HDTV, then it is a good swap. Really, we can't help you with that decision. The Wii and PS3 are getting a lot of future games, but you will have to thoroughly research both consoles. Try wikipedia. Also, look at E3 videos for anything coming to the future for both consoles.



The PS3, however, is perfect for HDTV's up to 1080p. edit- 1080i will work too.



I traded my Wii for a PS3 and I like the PS3 a lot more than the Wii. The Wii is great, but I like the PS3 better. But that's my opinion.

I would not trade it. In my opinion, the Wii is not "interchangeable" with the PS3 or 360. What I mean is that, with the Wii's control scheme and types of games, it is not in the same league as a PS3 or 360. Like, I would want either a PS3 or a 360, but would see it as being pointless to have both. However, I would want to have either a PS3 or a 360 as well as a Wii.

So no, DONT get rid of your Wii.

Yes trade it in because you have to good reasons to get a ps3 you will have the perfect entertainment center also imagine playing madden online on an HDTV thats awesome. Also Killzone 2 and Resistance 2 on a HDTV will be awesome. I played Metal Gear Solid 4 on a HDTV and it was so epic and it was a great experience. There is not any good games coming out for the wii so you probably wouldn't be missing anything but if you want it back its really cheap so i dont see the problem.

Dont listen to the Nintendo fanboys/girls ask the same question in the Ps3 section to hear more mature answers

NO the wii is console like no other!it has the best controlller and the games are the best pluse it as way more games than the ps3 the wii games also get a higer score on reviews!the ps3 breaks down a lot even if you update! the graphic are good and it has blue ray but that why you have a PC for! the wii is getting the conduit! and some games ps3 and xbox 360 won't get like these
