  1. You better do this trade! Who knows what everyone else is talking about. Felix Jones may be lookin good but has he actully took a snap in a preseason game yet? I believe he hasn't! Grant is only in his sophmore season and doesn't have Favre anymore on his team. Barber the past 2 seasons has around 26 or so TD's. You get a proven VET who is good vice a sophmore who had a good season but is still unproven. Barber for sure..... I have him ranked 5th on my list even.

  2. No! The Cowboys split time between two backs and know the Packers don't have Farve so they will give more time to Grant.

  3. No. Felix Jones is looking real good right now and may get the starting job and Barber will go back to the 3rd down and short yardage running back. Grant has no competition as of right now.

  4. Idk what these guys are talking about.  Definately trade Grant for Barber!  Marion Barber split carries last year too and still finished in the top 5 in Fantasy Points for RBs.  Felix Jones will get carries but you know how the Packers RBs are.  Every year they get hurt.  Barber is durable and a touchdown machine.  Trust me on this one and do the trade.

  5. If it's a points-only league I might do it, but if this is a head-to-head league then no way.

  6. i like marion barber a lot. he's going to get you at least 10 TDs and will be among the league leaders in rushing TDs. ryan grant can give you similar numbers, but he's only done it for less than one season. if rodgers does not live up to the favre hype, then defenses will target grant and that will limit his fantasy points and maybe even limit the amount of games he will play. marion barber, although he plays in a wreckless style, seems more likely to play out the whole season. supposedly he will share carries with felix jones, but jones at the moment is no more than a speedy back who will return kickoffs. he's been playing behind mcfadden in college. marion barber has still produced with julius jones chipping into his carries.

  7. No. Barber will likely split with Jones. Grant will be playing full time.

  8. nope, he'll have to throw in.

  9. Well, it's risky either way because preseason hasn't begun.

Barber III will share carries with Felix Jones.

Ryan Grant has what amounts to a rookie QB in Rodgers, so teams are going to load up to pound him.

It's not a bad deal on paper.  Footballguys.com lists Barber III at #7 among backs, and Grant at #12.  I think that ranking suggests the uncertainty about Grant, and how the Packers will respond.

You haven't seen Jones yet, so the deal is fine but very risky.

    I always preach patience.

  10. Don't listen to Skinner, this is no year to have a running back by committee on your roster.  Keep Grant.

  11. I think I would.  Its tough, but Barber should get about 1200 yards but with about 15tds compared to Grant who also shoudl get a lot of yards like that but I would say about 8-10 tds
