Should I trust my IQ results?

I took an IQ test and got 118. Im 18 years old, is that average? (I read that a 10-yr-old got 118 too!)

  2. That is a good result. It takes the same level of brains for a 10  year old to get 118, than for an 18 year old. So for example, a 6 year old getting 120, is proportional to a 15 year old getting 120. Anyway, 118 is very good. Well done

  3. Do not trust your IQ results as you received that score from an invalid source.

  4. Your IQ results really shouldn't ever vary--because educationally, IQ is just an indicator of how well you would do in school.  It doesn't really mean that you're brilliant (or not) but it does tell how easy school would be/was for you.  A 118 is very good, and I'd guess that doing well in school came easily to you.

  5. Your IQ is more like your capacity to learn so don't take it the wrong way. You arent stupid.  Below 100 is a little scary though. Having a 118 isn't bad or good.
