So here is my Fantasy Team, I think it should be pretty good, Except I am somewhat Dissappointed in my running backs, ( My roommate was helping me draft as I was in an online poker tourney when my draft started, he went WR happy and got me c**p for RB's)

QB- Tom Brady

WR- T.O.

WR- Marvin Harrison

WR- Hines Ward

RB- Maurice Jones-Drew

RB- Darren Mc Fadden

TE- Heath Miller

QB- David Gerrard

RB- Kevin Smith

WR- Nate Burleson

WR- Donte Stalworth

TE- LJ Smith

K- Ryan Longwell/ Jason Elam

DEF- Giants

What should I try and offer up to get a legitamate RB????

  1. First off I would drop Elam.  He is playing for atlanta and he won't score enough points to be a factor in FF.

    You don't really have any bait unless your willing to part with either T.O or Brady and I definately wouldn't do that.

    Try to trade/ package McFadden for someone like Rudi Johnson or Ronnie Brown (who should come fairly cheap) and drop the kicker and pick up watson (Cin Backup) and you should be sitting way better than now  Just a thought.

  2. hard to say without knowing what the other team needs.

  3. You actually don't have that bad of rb's, but i dont see any trade bait there. Drop your backup Kicker and grab another RB on your waiver wire as assurance.

    MJD will get plenty of TDs this year. Darren McFadden looks to be a very good #2 option. Also, Kevin Smith is probably going to start right away at Detroit, so he looks to be a big time sleeper this year.

  4. It looks like your roommate likes old wide receivers too.

    TO = Turns 35

    Harrison = 36

    Ward = 32

    Harrison is still recovering from last season's knee injuries, but hopefully he returns to his former self.

    Ward still has some game, but he too was injured last season.  Holmes is now the more favored target.

    You don't have a lot of appealing trade bait.

    Kevin Smith and Darren McFadden haven't played a down, Stallworth is the third option on his new team, and Garrard just lost Jerry Porter and Matt Jones.  Burleson is mediocre.

    I don't think you are going to be able to get fair market value until you see how your players look in the preseason.

    I would sit for now and wait for the stock to rise.

    Keep an eye on New Orleans' running back situation, as Deuce McAllister's knee is swelling again.  They might need to bring in a free agent like Benson or Alexander.

    Keep an eye on Rookie Ryan Torian in Denver.  He might give Selvin Young a run for the starter's job.

    You might be able to waiver wire your way into better RBs.

  5. Trade Harrison or Ward or use both for a top tier RB.
