  1. Dance dance - everyone here is spot on. There is no age limit to start learning. I only started at the age of 25 and i'm just relieved that I started at all in my life.

If you are interested in in all sorts of dance forms morphed into one. I can highly recommend tribal fusion. Which blends contemporary, ballet, jazz, street dance, flamenco, gypsy, all built on the core of the muscles used in belly dancing - i.e all your muscles! :)

The sky is the limit and any music you love can be dance inspiration.

Within a fusion dance environment I hope you will find a community of women all ages, sizes, confidences and cultures all brought together by a common inspiration, and through your journey, you learn self acceptance and make amazing friends...undoing all the propaganda that the media have fed us on how we should appear and what to buy to make us feel happy.

My top favourite examples for anyone new to tribal fusion:

    about 4 min long: http://youtube.com/watch?v=OPay-4_loNk

    about 1:49 long: http://youtube.com/watch?v=SWjSCU5rz9g

ps. let em buffer, and let us know what ya get up to! :)

  2. Since you like dance and you are a teen,

maybe you could pick up something like

    Jazz, Salsa, or even HipHop!

    :-)

  3. Sure! If you love dancing, go for it! Good Luck!:)

  4. We're in a world of opportunities, dancing is a great way to keep fit and have fun. I did circus but quit 2 try dancing and I love it. If u quite like pop music and arnt into all the classical stuff then try street dance or hip hop. If u dont care what it is then I highly reccomend Tap because its really amazing fun and the sound is great. And it doesnt matter about the age but if ur older now then u might pick up the steps faster.

  5. DEFINITELY!

I did ballet as a child and never excelled or shone at it but started dancing salsa, latin and ballroom from age 20 and have found I'm actually good at it (it surprised me a lot!)

I think when you're older you have more attention, you can listen and understand instructions more easily, you're more aware of your body and what it can do, you're likely to be rhythmically more developed, you may find you have more confidence and the main point - you're dancing because you have CHOSEN to not because you HAVE to and you're bound to give it more attention.

    Good luck!

  6. Sure you should, you're still a sweet seventeen meteorcrashh!

  7. go for it!

    do whatever makes you happy

  8. No age factor for dancing go start dancing rock star.
