Should I try to match the wedding party

I'm doing some musical pieces at my friend's wedding on Friday. My best dress is brown and her wedding color is like a teal blue. Should I try to find something else to wear, or do you think it will be ok?

Ask the bride, she'll give her honest opinion and you wont feel bad or weird about your outfit choice at the wedding.

Brown and blue together are fine - and it is not like you are going to be in any of the major photos with the bridesmaids or anything so I would not worry.  The best colours for performers are dark colours like black and brown so it should be perfect.

Personally, I think it would be odd if you showed up wearing teal to match them.
