Should I use Ice on my thigh or a heating pad?

I keep reinjuring my thigh. I did it again last night. I "Iced it down" for a few hours. I dont know whether to use Ice or heat Today.

  2. after an injury, the best thing to do is ice for the first 24 hrs... followed by heat for the next 24 hrs.  

  3. You are supposed to rotate ice with heat, so ice it down for 15 minutes then heat for 10. Depending on your injury you should stay off it and let it heal. If you keep re-doing the injury it is not going to heal right and continue to re-occur.

  4. Use the Ice. I heard that heat is bad for you.
