  1. i prefer pads with wings- less chance of leakage.

always has never failed me, so i use those. i use the yellow ones for moderate flow there super thin and not bulky at all. the pink ones are good too.

any absorbancy will work nicely, but maxi pads can be an annoyance so i would steer away from those...

for nightime use the always overnight pads. they are thin but have good front-to-back protection for if you roll aorund at night..

    good luck. :)

  2. Always ultra thins regular absorbency are good and very comfortable the come with wings which i suggest b/c it will help hold your pad in place and protect your underwear from accidental leakage.

  3. I have the same type of flow.

I use the always ultra thin with the wipes attached, or the long always ultra thins.

    Always Winged.

  4. Use winged pads if you want more coverage (so you don't leak off the side of the pad.) I prefer winged so the pad doesn't bunch up or leak. Ultra-thin pads are nice, you feel much drier than the huge pads plus you don't feel like you're wearing a diaper. If the ultra-thin ones aren't absorbent enough for you, you can always go up to the normal absorbency ones. You don't need the giant super duper absorbency pads unless your flow is really heavy, or you leak a lot. Brand is really just a preference, although I like Always pads. Be sure to get unscented as well because your skin may be sensitive to it. Not to mention, the perfumey-smell of it mixed with period smell is very unpleasant.

  5. I have a moderate to heavy flow, and I use the regular Always pads without wings (thick kind).  They work pretty well and I rarely have any leaks. Just make sure you check on your pad and change about every 3-4 hours.

  6. Ultra-thin super with wings. Brand is a matter of individual preference.

  7. I like Stayfree.  I think all their sizes have wings and they rarely leak.  I get the extra long ones because if I move around from sitting to laying down, etc they cover me.

  8. non-winged

    kotex

    regular

    and non scented

  9. I actually just switched to wings and I like them a lot better, they stay in place better. I have a moderate flow and I use Kotex Ultra Thin with Wings. But normally what I do is only use the pad as a back up. I wear tampons but just in case of the event they leak or I don't get to the bathroom in time I have a pad on. :)

  10. Wings are little flaps with adhesive on the two sides of the pad. You attach them to the other side of your underwear. Pads without wings are more likely to fold while you are wearing them. This could cause menstrual fluid to leak and saturate the underwear. The wings help prevent this from happening, not to mention that a pad that is peeling up is really uncomfortable!
