  1. I am getting my daughter vaccinated, but the shots are being spaced out, so it's not too much for her little system to handle. I definitely think the small risk of bad reactions to the vaccinations is worth taking, considering that diseases like meningitis can be deadly and kill a baby extremely quickly.

  2. yeah

its stupid. you could be saving their life, and so why not? like if you do it, what harm could happen?

  3. They're so many more pros than cons and honestly, I think most of this vaccine chatter is nonsense. My 18yr daughter had all her shots and is fine. My 6, 5 and 4m will follow through as well.

  4. It is totally up to you whether or not you vaccinate your children. In my opinion I think the pros outweigh the cons of it all. With some people they still believe that vaccines cause autism in all reality it doesn't at all.The mercury which was known to "cause" autism was taken out of the shots in 2001,and also the case that got everyone stirred up about this whole ordeal was the little girl HAD autism only it was 'dormant"(so to speak) and the MMR shot aggitated the condition and made the signs very apparent rather than letting it take its course and show up years later, but none the less she had autism already,.just nobody noticed it.

Seeing as how many parents do not vaccinate their children since this scare a small case of measles has broke out in the US,now and also with all the overseas adoptions now a days...a foreign disease is only a plane ride away and I'm just not one to take that chance! Both of my daughters are vaccinated up to date, and this daughter I am pregnant with will be vaccinated on time also. Both my daughters are perfectly fine and have been since birth, and so is everyone in my family and their children. So if autism really is linked to vaccines then how come NO ONE in my family(and my family is HUGE) has autism or any signs of it?(not tryin to be rude so sorry if I come off that way).

So for my helpful advice,I would say I'd suggest vaccinated your children to protect them from diseases. And even if Autism was caused by vaccines(which it isn't) I would much rather have my children protected from far worse things than autism.

    Best of Luck

  5. yes yes yes yes yeah uh huh most certainly asap now

  6. I have heard of other mothers that didn't vaccinate their children and now they cannot go to school because they have to have their needles before they are allowed to go. I have heard of all the risks associated with getting vaccines, but the risks are even greater if they don't get them. Please, get your children vaccinated. They are designed to help your babies not get sick, why wouldn't you want to prevent your children from hurting???

  7. If you choose to vaccinate then make certain that you get the injections done by a doctor and not done by a welfare nurse.  The country I am in you can choose to go to the welfare nurse on a specific day and they vaccinate children basically in a long line.  Not knowing any better we did so with our first two children with no ill effects but then when we took our 3rd child for his first injection he had a very nasty reaction.  After the fright of that we only ever got the injections done by a doctor where there is more backup and support if on the off chance your child does have a nasty reaction.  You could also ask about a test injection with a lower dose to see if the baby is likely to have a reaction.  This test was done on my son to see if he could tolerate his next lot of injections.  It was discovered that the vaccine used at the time for whooping cough was causing the problem and he could not be vaccinated for that as he just could not even take the test injection.  His reaction while not nice was not life threatening, but it can be if you happen to be very very unlucky.  Now don't get me wrong I think it important to vaccinate, but do it the right way so you don't have any regrets and if the doctors think you are  a little neurotic about it all then let them.
