Should I visit Manzanillo or Puerto Vallarta?

I have 2 sons ages 3 and 6. Please recommend a kid friendlly resort in any of these two places. A water park near by would be nice. Thanks

Puerto Vallarta is BEAUTIFUL!  Kid friendly too!  Can get very hot and humid.  Just make sure you drink lots of water.

you want puerto vallarta then.  when i went to manzanillo, although very relaxing....it was a shipping town, and i was right by the naval base.  i just saw these huge tankers go in and out all day long.  that was sort of weird.  i really liked manzanillo, but i think you might find a little more to do in vallarta.

sorry, i don't know of any water parks.  try the hotel pool!!

There are quite a few resorts (kid-friendly) in Nuevo Vallarta (just a little north of the  airport).  There is a water park in Nuevo across the highway from the resort area.  Paradise Village is one of the resorts, but there are several, and I believe most are all-inclusive.

The resorts at Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta are kid friendly. Most have a tots pool with a little water park. The Mexican people love children no matter where you go in Mexico. There is a marine park that has dolphins which you can swim with not far away from the resort area. Kids love it.
