  1. None of them. A political issue just happened couple weeks ago and all the world is paying attention in the dictatorship in Vietnam; specially human rights are not respected; you may get in trouble if something breaking out.

  2. nha trang although every year caters more and more to the elite with facy food and overprice hotels, it is still party central for backpackers and the bugget minded... mui ne is a much quieter place with almost exclusively high priced resort style accomadations. nha trang is much easier to get in and out of; airport, train station, as well as bus service...mui ne you must drive in and out.   if you're a wind surfer mui ne is the place.. but you better be good..the beach at nha trang is better suited for bodysurfing and sunbathing. i like both for diffrent reasons if you can bugget yourself to $50 a day or more [food accomadations] then mui ne is doable... you can stay in nha trang comfortably for $20 a day and less.

ps."ketchup" i'd love to know where the "famous caves" are in nha trang.. i've been there dozens of times and never even heard of them

  3. Both place are beautiful but i prefer Mui Ne than Nha Trang. Nha Trang got beautiful bay but a bit touristy while Mui Ne is quiet with beautiful beach and some beautiful sand dune

  4. Of course... With me, a VNese girl... I think Mui Ne is suitable for enjoy urself with entertainment, games n strange traditional controls... But Nha Trang is more free for who like the comfort n big great hotels n lots of very clean beaches... NT has many famous caves n the food in the restaurants is also ok... Almost things in Nha Trang is better than Mui Ne... So I advise u to visit Nha Trang :)) But the best is u go to both, b'cause Viet Nam is an amazing country... :-j

  5. It depends what you are looking for. Mui Ne is beautiful, relatively quiet (by Vietnamese standards), ideal for a relaxing few days.

Nha Trang by contrast is popular with Vietnamese and international tourists, has lots of activities from boat trips to the islands to a new cable car journey, a vast choice of places to eat and accommodation for all budgets. On the downside it can be noisy, has more crime and if you are a guy on your own prostitutes can also be a problem as they will always bother you.

These are the basic facts - but as I say the choice is yours. I would probably go for the peace and relative tranquility of Mui Ne.

    Have fun wherever you choose.
