Should I wait for the android devices, or should I wait for a new iPod touch?

I need a device that can access the internet, play videos, and act as a personal database where I can store, access and write info when I'm on the go. A lot of people say that the iPhone is the way to go, but I don't need the phone part so I figured that since a new iPhone was going to be unveiled soon, that would mean that a new iPod touch will be released.

But then I came across google's new android technology and I was wondering if I should just wait for that to come out.

Wait for the new ipod touch as it will be better than andrioids and it will have wifi and lots of googd features
