I just don't think paying 3000-5000 dollars for a TV to be worth it

  1. Wow, what type of TV would you be buying for that kind of cash?

You can get a 42" 1080p Panasonic plasma (TH-42PZ85U)for $1,266 from Amazon with free shipping.

If you want to save money, pick up a TV on Black Friday or the week before Christmas, Feb-March is typically the most expensive time for HDTV's, after all the Super Bowl sales.

  2. Actually they may go up in price since we all like to wait til the last minute and there wont be any tv for us unless we have them!

  3. same here, i'll wait

  4. There will be no price drop in Feb 2009 because they are converting to a DIGITAL signal and NOT HD.  HD televisions have nothing to do with the 2009 conversion.

  5. ! another 6 month, LCD panel ( 26/32 inc) drops 5-10%, use for HDTV LCD panel  40 inc above, will drop only 5 %  for next 6 month, as demand is high , and only 07 maker for this, ( Sansumg / LG-Philips  / Sharp  / Sony /   Toshiba- Matsushita JV . / Hitachi / Chimei .is mean 40 to 50 inc LCD HDTV will only drop not more than 5 %. 26/32 will be around 10 %.
