Should I wait until I have grown my hair competely out into the length I want before I color it?

  1. It really doesnt matter.. your hair will continue to grow and you will have to continue to get your new growth touched up... So either way there is going to be mantinance with the color...  


  2. and you'll have to continuously die your roots as it grows out.  Grow it, get a trim and the cut/style you want, and then dye it.

YES! omg i screwed up sooo bad i cut a few inches off my like elbow length hair and then i colored it dark brown (i was a light brown before) and when it began to grow out my roots were lighter than the rest of my hair. then i had to re color it so it kept growing so like every 3 months i had to get my roots fixed and finally i just bleached it a put my reg. color back but then my roots grew out darker then they were originally so yeah BAD IDEA!!

  4. fo sho cause if you dont you will have to recolor more often because your roots are not the same color

  5. yes cause it wont look right unless as soon as it grows you color it!  

  6. definately, its wat im doing now. colouring will damage it and you dont want damaged hair when it took so long to grow. trust me, it'll b worth the wait!
