Should I wash my hair if I'm getting loose perm tomorrow morning?

My hair is really greasy and Im going to get a loose perm tomorrow morning hopefully so should I just leave my hair alone tonight? There are really mixed answers on here some saying leave alone and others saying to wash it so any answers from previous experience would be appreciated!

My hair is medium thickness and just below my shoulders.

Why don't you call up your hairdresser? They can give you the most educated answer as well as any other information that you might need to prepare your hair!

Absolutely not...the grease will protect your scalp and root beds from the chemicals.  Most stylists won't give you a chemical treatment if you just washed your hair.

first you shouldnt even be getting a perm because they ruin your hair so much! but if you really want to, then yes because when you have your perm you can wash your hair for a couple days. plus all the residue will build up on your hair if its already and it will be really bad

Generally don't wash your hair unless they tell you to. If they need you washed, they can do it at the salon. The exta oil you get from not washing it helps protect the hair, so definitely in this case don't!
