  1. Only if you want to have kids one day.

Remember, even kicks thrown in training can miss.  Not only that, but it sometimes takes a while to get used to wearing a cup, and you don't want to be uncomfortable when you spar because you aren't used to kicking with a cup on.

  2. Not for a class. You should always bring your gear with you in case your instructor wants you to spar that day. Otherwise don't wear it. Most martial artists are switching to outside cups anyway because they give more protection and are quicker to put on.

  3. I would think so, so you not singing like a girl after a good swift kick ; )

  4. yeah kicks miss a lot. So do knees. A thief always protects his jewels my friend. Remember that.

  5. Yes, accidents happen.

  6. its a good idea to wear a foul protector while sparring so you get use to wearing a foul protector in a fight (its compulsury for ring fight). i wear my gloves around the house some days so it becomes a naturally feeling.

  7. yes

  8. check with your instructor to see if it is a rule. in my dojo both male and female have to wear groin protection.females breast too. but its up to you if its not school rule. i know a lot of guys don't.because you don't wear one on the street.

  9. Yes because of those knees going to your body!

  10. At my dojo, we are required to come to class with a cup on! Even if we don't spar
