Should I wear gloves with this dress?

It's shaped sort of like this:

and it's black. I'm wearing it to prom and I was wondering if long opera gloves would look good with it. I have lovely silk ones that I got for my birthday, they're black with a little bit of silvery embroidery along the seam.

Yeah i think that would be ok and i'm sure you could pull it off and because it is strapless it would look better with gloves. Also black goes really well when you wear gloves it gives it a nice look and by the way i love that dress and I'm sure you will look fine.
