Should I wear my wedding gown or Saree for the reception?

I need your help on deciding whether I should wear my wedding gown (for which I spent about Rs. 20,000) to my wedding reception which will happen on the same day of my wedding or go in for a Saree as per Indian tradition?

a grand kancheevaram silk saree,splly one with a lot of thread work and not too much zari would look v.good.go ahead try a dazzling maroon or deepblu with zari and thread work together.

You should wear gown for weding and saree for reception.

Let people see you in different looks.It will be exciting.

Being clad in similar attire for whole day will be monotonous and boring.Its your day, Look best in both the dress(gown and saree)

As you mention that it is very worthy and specially for marriage purpose then why are you thinking about saree, Go and wore your wedding Gown on reception. Special dress for the special day. Congratulation in advance.

I think you should wear your Saree,

than you can wow and surprise everyone at the real wedding with the wedding gown.

for 20,000 you wouldn't want it to be like "oh...well, i've already seen that dress..."

u can go for wedding gown since u wil be wearing saree on the same day . so i prefer u to wear gown on ur reception
