I have just had an IOL implanted and now I need some correction for it, and I need reading glasses, but have always wanted rimless glasses. Can they make rimless bifocals? Would they look bad? Should I just get two pairs of glasses?

  1. Still progressive bifocals aren't for everyone. My husband has had trouble adjusting to his glasses. He says that he's often forced to hold his head at an awkward angle when he wants to look through the upper part of them.

  2. You can get progresive bifocals and have them mounted in rimless frames...there are many types of these so talk to your optomitrist to see what they recomend ,NO they do not look bad, most people can't tell if you have bifocal lenses with them...just don't skimp...get good lenses..i've had them for years and I can't tell the difference, they are just like normal lenses to me...Infact I was happier when the eye dr. prescribed them so I no longer was taking glasses on and off
