Should I withdraw from school before it starts?

I'll be going into 11th grade and I am moving within a month and a half after school starts, but if I do go to school I'll be withdrawn 4 weeks after school starts. Also I'll need to help with packing. Should I go to school for a little while or just not go? Any laws on the subject would help too.

  1. First of all : Needing help with packing is no excuse to skip school.

Second : Just go for 4 months, and make sure your counseler and teachers know you're going to move soon so they dont give you any long term asignments. :] God, I hate changing schools, but im soo used to it.

  2. no

  3. I think you should go to school.  When you become an adult, you will have to work and move at the same time.  Consider practice for the adult world.  Lot's of multitasking.

  4. if your moving into another school...then you should continue to go until your last day...you would have to repeat 11th grade since you missed so many days.

  5. Go to school..It will be hard to pack and get your things together, but if you are underage and you withdraw and aren't re enrolled in a certain amount of time(depending on the state) your parents can be arrested. It will be considered a truancy case.

  6. yes! you should go the full 2 years! i think it would be a stupid choice to not go for all of those years! am i right or am i right!HA wow i can't stop making myself laugh! High school is very important child.

  7. well yes you should continue your school until you move, when i was younger my mom use to always change me during the school year but that's a way to make a lot of friends and at least you can transfer your credits to your new school
