Question:

Should I work off the fat around my belly before starting on sit-ups?

I have a medium amount of fat around my stomach and I'm trying to strengthen my ab muscles, working towards a really light six pack. Should I try to get the fat off and then doing sit ups regularly or just start on the sit ups because they'll burn off the fat anyway?

If I should try to get the fat off first, what exercises would you suggest do this? Thanks :-)

  1. both at same time. the fat will have to be worked off with cardio and proper diet but then you will have ab muscles under that once it comes off


  2. You can do sit ups now but if you want to lose fat then good balanced food and things like running will help, sit ups dont burn a massive amount of fat-unless u do millions-theyre more for working up muscle tone so do it all together :)
