Should ICC use T20 for popularizing the game of cricket.......

We have countries like USA , Switzerland , China, Argentina etc etc in which Cricket is not given any recognition......should the ICC use the t20 format - which is fast and obviously more entertaining to popularize the game.......or will they give out a wrong message in doing so? (T20 is just bang - bang........and a good cricketer is the one really performs during tests)......?

I need ur opinion........

cheers :)

  1. yes i think its a great idea , it will get the smaller nations competing and they can only get better, like holland and ireland have done in the world cup. we should have more competitions involving the smaller sides, but i cant see anybody outside the current test playing nations challenging on the test front in my lifetime

  2. Yes, for promoting cricket in non-cricketing countries, T20 is the best medium. first we need to attract the sports fan to watch cricket, and understand the game. Once there is good enough support for the game, ODI can be introduced. But the introduction test matches in those countries will take a longer time. But something is  better than nothing.

  3. Well, i believe that T20 will get the non-cricketing countries interested in cricket. When they know about T20 and love the way it is played, they will gradually build interest in the other formats of the game.
