  1. NO--they should be deported and encourage them to use our immigration system if they desire to live in our country.

  2. No... not ever, not for any reason.

  3. I don't mind legal immigrants coming to the US. I think that illegal immigrants should not be in the US though. I know many legal and illegal immigrants and I consider many to be my friends.

The big problem is that they don't pay taxes. Can you imagine how much lower taxes would be if the millions of illegals were taxed like citizens.

These people are using resources that are paid for by tax dollars, yet they don't contribute because they don't pay tax. As bad as it sounds they are criminals and should be treated as criminals. We should deport these people and tighten our borders.

  4. Illegal means illegal. If they enter and stay in this country they better have papers, if they don't then send them home. Why should I pay for them through taxes and  for their medical. Just because they work means nothing, They work on farms because they get cash and don't have to pay taxes. The are 100% free loaders,

  5. They should stay for many reasons including:  (1) it would be almost impossible to deport all of them, (2) they are a major contributor to our local and national economy (most economists agree that they either help or at least do not hurt the economy), (3) their families need money, too, and (4) to send them home, 2/3 of them to Mexico, would crash the economy of Mexico due to sudden, massive unemployment and lack of money being sent to Mexico from the United States.

So what if Mexico's economy crashes, you ask?  Such a crash would hurt our economy as well.  This is why President Clinton bailed out the peso when its value dropped significantly in 1995.  Had the peso completely failed, Mexico's economy would have been severely damaged.

  6. No they shouldn't.  If they want to come here do it legally and pay taxes like the rest of us.  I'm tired of having my taxes raised to subsidize their medical care.  Where I live, they snuck in  an increase in our property tax to help the local hospital recoup some of it's unreimbursed care for illegals.  I pay enough for my own family's healthcare, why should I pay for theirs.  I'm also tired of my taxes paying for school information to be printed in Spanish and English or having to press 1 for English when I call into customer service numbers.  This is an English speaking country--LEARN THE LANGUAGE!  Many other nationalities come here and learn to speak English, often prior to coming.

I have no problems with the ethnicity of others but I do have a problem with someone stealing my tax dollars.( That goes for welfare moochers too!)  I didn't understand why they didn't arrest and deport many of them during their march for "their rights" a while back.  If they truly wanted to be here, they would obtain legal status.

  7. They should be able to stay! they are big contributors of the United States. They pay Billions in taxes, they make Billions in purchases....they buy Houses, Cars, Food, Cloths, Electronics and the list goes on. Without them, this country would be Billions poorer. They are a big reason on why we still have Medicare and Social Security. No matter how much people say that Americans will do the jobs illegals do, it's not true! Yes, they did these jobs before, but Americans today are not the same people they were back then. They have more options.....easier options! Illegal immigrants are hard working family oriented people. Don't listen to the dummies on here. Most don't even know or have even seen a Mexican in person.

The Economy Benefits from Illegal Immigrants

    Benefits of Illegal Workers

Anti-immigration activists seem to overlook some of the obvious ways that American people benefit from illegal immigrants who work in the United States. Some of the most obvious ways in which illegal immigrants help the U.S. economy are:

Illegal immigrants living in the U.S. are also consumers in the U.S. and therefore boost the economy.

Many illegal immigrants who work in the U.S. do not file tax returns because they fear deportation and therefore do not collect tax refund payments that they are entitled to receive.

Social Security payments are not made to illegal immigrants. Therefore the money that is paid into the Social Security system by illegal immigrants supports payments to American baby boomers who are now reaching retirement age.

Illegal immigrants may be a large factor in keeping the Social Security system afloat.

    Illegal immigrants pay taxes, too

Illegal immigrants are paying taxes to Uncle Sam, experts agree. Just how much they pay is hard to determine because the federal government doesn't fully tally it. But the latest figures available indicate it will amount to billions of dollars in federal income, Social Security and Medicare taxes this year. One rough estimate puts the amount of Social Security taxes alone at around $9 billion per year.

The Social Security Administration estimates that about three-quarters of illegal workers pay taxes that contribute to the overall solvency of Social Security and Medicare.

The agency estimates that for 2005, the last year for which figures are available, about $9 billion in taxes was paid on about $75 billion in wages from people who filed W2 forms with incorrect or mismatched data, which would include illegal immigrants who drew paychecks under fake names and Social Security numbers.

  8. illegal = illegal

  9. that tired old "jobs americans won't do" argument is starting to lose steam.

if i was better at taking care of someone's car, does that give me the right to take it out for a drive anytime i want?

  10. no

  11. No.  Of course they shouldn't be here.  If they can't take the time to follow our immigration laws, they aren't the kind of immigrants that are wanted and needed by this country.  We need people who will respect our laws -- not ignore them.  There's a reason that they are ILLEGAL aliens and not legal immigrants.

  12. No they should be deported. They are breaking our laws and disrespecting our country. They are also using programs and resources meant for citizens which the hard working tax paying Americans are paying for. Only about 3% of illegals work in the field by the way.

  13. Illegal people from all over the world are here, but by definition, they should not be.  The problem is so great that those causing problems should be deported immediately.  There should be a deport priority system.

    Thanks for the link Bambi.

  14. Obviously they shouldn't be but they are. Now what is the solution pray tell?

  15. Yes, but they should become legal. They are helping in the economy of this country. And many of them pay taxes.

Besides, Is it true that there are "millions" of people waiting in line to come to the USA legally  to work for minimal salary when they can do that in their countries? I don't think so. People who don't want illegal immigrants here and don't even want them to become legal are just showing that their excuse of them being illegal is prejudiced and biased.

  16. That's a big fat NO. What is so complicated to understand about being ILLEGAL?

They come here without money, proof of birth, or education or skills. They don't learn English and they certainly do NOT become Citizens.

    *Reminder-- Illegal = Bad

Please read the following link for a better understanding of how ANTI-American the illegals REALLY are.

  17. YES WE SHOULD BE HERE!

we are not doing any more then the white man did to the indians over 200 yrs ago :)

they pay taxes like everyone else. They pay property, sales, and income tax and guess what? the SSA reports billions of unclaimed tax dollars EVERY YEAR, from yup u guessed it all the "illegals" who aren't able to claim the money.

And for all you s****. people who were born into this great country of ours, unless you have been to a thirdworld country and lived there for more than 1 yr, then I dont wanna hear it.

It's not fair that the faith of 11 million people is in the hands of a hole bunch of middle aged white men who know no mexican except maybe there cleaning lady.

Give me a break, they deserve to be here just like you do.

  18. no! angelisa is way off! im native american and i say go home ! stop comparing yourselves to american indians!fyi your not!you are the children of the conquestedors!

  19. The operative word is "illegal"!  No, they should not be allowed to stay.  The misconception of illegals working in the fields and "taking jobs that no American will take" is a load of bs.  They over burden our health care system, pay little or no taxes, and are involved in gang and criminal activity.  I live in a small town and at least twice a year there is a major drug bust on the interstate in my area involving - yep, you guessed it - illegal Mexicans!

Until we tighten our porous borders and deport illegals we will also face another threat - the crossing of terrorists.  Yes, I see the sob stories on the news but I also see mass gatherings of criminals demanding their "rights".  Millions of legal  immigrants have come to America and became part of the Melting Pot and that is the way it needs to continue.  One Country (America), One Flag (the American Flag) and one language (English).

  20. this is a fact look it up, only 2% of them work on farms picking fruit and the other 98% of them work inner city jobs or mooch off the governments welfare system and get free food, health care, and health insurance and even if they did work the hardest job who cares, theryre illegal and should be deported

  21. I have no problem with illegals, if they work, apply for citizenship, and follow our laws. If coming to the U.S. was a decision to make their lives better for them and their families, then by all means go ahead, but if its just single men coming up to give women fatherless children, drink beer and steal things then i say go ahead and give them to the fascists with sniper rifles who patrol the border from secluded canyons and water towers, they cause more pain than their worth.

  22. According to many a question like this one, I am under the impression that illegal aliens are only capable intellectually of being field hands. So no, illegal aliens should not be here if they can not contribute to viable solutions that would favor the US citizen in general. If they are needed they can wait in line amongst the millions who are there waiting now, just legally.
