The match on Thursday looked like it was fixed. Same line-up or different line-up really does not matter. It is the side that is in top form on that day which matters. If Shewag is lucky and Gambhir plays his usual stuff and Rohit, Yuvraj, Raina and Dhoni click at the same time, nobody can beat India.

I think we should have 5 bowlers,as the opposing teams are making 300 easily.One spinner in the form of Chawla is sufficient,and Shewag  or Yuvaraj  can also be used if any of the main bowlers get slogged. In short, same team  which played Sri lanka, except Chawla replaces Ojha.

Irrespective of whom they are playing, India is weaker than SRL in bowling. If Sri Lanka's bowling is 100, India's is 78. This is the kind of difference. This weakness manifests itself as a overall weakness of about 3%. Hence SRL are the favourites to win the match. But if India can rise to the occasion and improve its all round performance by about 10%, it can defeat SRL.

India's batting line up should consist of Raina, Dhoni, Gambhir, Sehwag, Yuvraj and Rohit Sharma. Bowling line-up should consist of Ojha, Chawla, Gony, RP Singh and Irfan Pathan. This is the best team that India can offer. Praveen Kumar, Ishant Sharma, Yousuf Pathan and Uthappa are going thro' a lean patch and should not be considered.

India's weak bowling requires the help from fielders in saving runs and converting half chances into catches. India's batting looks good but SRL's batting can not be under-estimated. Ajantha Mendis and Murali will play havoc in their allotted 20 overs and if India knows how to bat against them, they have won the match.
