  1. It seems wrong and unfair on the participants but it was wrong to disband the official, non-political committee.

    So the answer is "No".

  2. Yeah they should maybe the conflict there may then take second place and maybe they could be host at sometime....

  3. Yes. I thought the problem with Iraq was Saddam Hussein. He's not in charge any more.

  4. The IOC makes the rules. Its the IOC who chose Beijing despite China's horrible human rights record.

  5. Iraqis should refuse to participate in the event even if the ban is removed, we have elections, the Chinese don't.

  6. I am a sports person myself. Iraq should participate.

    The more, the merrier.

  7. well there we are then, perhaps they shouldnt have done that.

  8. This may not make sense, but on some level i think it does.  What is the US there for? this is kind of a shot to the US.  We are there to make them a better country and being in the Olympics is about representing you country.  Obviously the US hasn't doe the job they wanted in order to have Iraq be a country that can thrive on its own. Am what I'm saying make any sense?

  9. Them's the rules.If the U.S. hadn't lied and invaded they'd be there.

  10. Yes of course. It's sports, politics should not play any role.

    That the best may win!
