And, if so, what would be the consequences?, considering the Bush Administration is running out of time, and less likely to strike Iran.

Geez! Please we don't want to strike Iran or encourage any other country to do it. If Iran is struck then we are headed for World War 3.

Some people are some selfish and inconsiderate of the children's lives, they are the future generation and they deserve to live, don't they?

As long as US, UK and the rest of western nations are behind Israel, Israel will strike Iran by dragging the whole world into WWIII.

I'm not sure if they should, but the option is on the table.

If they did you can be sure that Hezbollah, Iran's proxy army, will start another war with Israel and the world will once again condem Israel for fighting back as they did a couple of years ago.  We know that Hezbollah has rearmed under the noses of the UN peacekeepers, we can also be fairly sure that the peacekeepers will not stop Hezbollah from launching rockets at Israel.  Could make for some interesting news stories.
