I couldn't resist. But seriously, props to Kyle Busch for finishing 7th afterwards. I've never ever been quoted as saying Kyle can't drive a stock car.

He would have been right in the mix for the win if that wouldn't have happened.

  1. That might work. Push on lug nuts might be a better way to go...!!! LOL

  2. still laughing at Fluffy's answer and i have to agree with her and the cheating book.....heheehheehe, good answer Fluff

  3. No rubber...

  4. Who needs lug nut....LOL

  5. He had to replace his team with humans after those penalties. Before that they were all robots and never messed up (other than the magnets of course). I just don't know how he'll perform now with actual people making the adjustments. Luckily Kyle is an alien or something of that nature so he can help make up part of the difference.

  6. That's funny man! I think it might work in that situation.

You got it right about Busch. He would have been breathing down there necks. It is what it is though and I'm happy with the results.

  7. Lug nuts out of magnets? hmmm......Everyone's a comedian, lol..

He just needed 10 more laps I tell ya! Oh well, good job to Brad.

  8. i don't know about NASCAR lugs, but i would think that magnetic lug nuts would make things more difficult cuz they would magnetize to each other and would be hard to pull apart......

  9. That would have been cool if they used a magnetized lug nut to stick under the accelerator pedal and then when NASCAR tried to bust them for using magnets, they would have found a lug nut instead. And JGR could've said "what a freak phenomenon, the lug nut must have flew off the air wrench and landed inside the car. It's amazing how it got lodged to the floorboard, it's must have magnetized itself from the electron polarity induced by the reverse spinning of the lug on it's stud" A fact that could actually occur, and JGR wouldn't get the "idiot tax"

  10. no, but maybe they should start making the front fenders on the 20 car out of rubber... two hits to it within the last 40 laps or so. i thought for sure that tire was going to blow the way that thing was smoking.

as for kyle, what amazed me the most was how calm he has become when such things happen now. last year, they used to love playing him on the radio yelling about mistakes and about how they better not complain if he wads the car up. now it's fairly calm, cool, and collected. even after the race his interview was civil and fairly positive. addington and gibbs are starting to have an effect on that boy...
